star star star star starLoved this service for over 10-years Started with Youmail on my iPhone, as voice to text was so easy to sort out. The spam-blocker is just as vital, as it lets me report spoof phone numbers and help by crowd sourcing, along with a quite efficient algorithm to catch spam before it rings my phone. Funniest thing is how many of my friends live that it knows their name if their in my contacts, and really like the female voice who greets them. Some of them want her phone number to get to know her! Best by far!!!!
star star star star starWorks as advertised. I lost visual notification to voicemails when I updated to Android 7.0. YouMail fixed this. I also like the conference call capability.

star star star starThe service: good but not great. The app: good enough I used this years ago and had fun with it. Was amazing to have visual voicemail and multiple outgoing messages tied to callers back then. I've been frustrated by Google Voice's VM slowness and intermittent notifications Came back to check this and tried it for two or three weeks or so here in mid-2014. It just isn't excellent all around. I had more than one number that didn't get recognized for the custom outgoing. I had one person get a text saying their number wasn't recognized and they needed to ID themselves. This presumably because I enabled the rejection of unidentified callers and had a special outgoing tied to that. The catalog of outgoing messages is "full" according to a post by an employee and hasn't been widely updated in some time. The app is good enough. But the niggling hassles mean back to GV VM for me.
