I wasn't fond of the voicemail app suggested for Mint Mobile. I made the switch back to YouMail and so far so good. The repeating tutorial bug seems to have been squashed. I can finally listen to my voicemails without dialing in and I can actually hear them. I only wish the menus were more refined/simpler. It seems I have to go to several sections before I can get to the option I'm looking for. It would also be nice if there was a double-tap back to exit so I don't keep accidentally closing.
