This is Premier Bank Card. If you have an account, even if it's in good standing - NOT in collections - but you are over the limit, they will give you a courtesy call letting you know you are over the limit since when reporting time to the credit bureaus comes around, it will affect your credit score. Not a scam, and yes, it's a legit number. If you're so concerned, call the number on the back of your card and they'll verify this. However, if you're in collections and don't want to call the number on the back of your card because you're in collections, and don't want to pay the bill, then keep running, calling this a scam. But it's not... you're just not paying your bills...
