We in our local area experienced a surge. We called spectrum and they told us , yes there is a power outage somewhere and it's being ng fixed at the time of our call. Spectrum informed us that we would get a text or call updating us about the interruption. We receive a call the next day. The only problem is the call had no one speaking on the line. I hung up and immediately searched online and found this website with complaints on the same number. It seems this is exactly what happens to us. I received only one call from this number and I said hello twice and hung up.
My spouse received a call, on her cell phone, but didn't answer. The same voicemail was left, about a service interruption: "Hi this is spectrum. We are calling to inform you that the service interruption you reported has been cleared. If you are still experiencing a service interruption. Please call us back and we will be glad to assist you. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for being our customer. Goodbye". Thing is, we NEVER reported an interruption. It may be a legitimate issue, but not with us.
