(866) 510-0489 is a Bank/Credit Card Payment Reminder

Calls every morning @8am, every day of the week. Same 18 second recording; sometimes male, sometimes female. I have 3 of their call-from numbers blocked. They still manage to leave recordings without showing up in CID or recent calls. I have no Sears card. Never have. Called Customer Service # on back of Citi card (paid in full every month, on time, under $120 for my internet and cell srvc). Answered in Manila, clueless, but demanding a LOT of personally-identifying info. Would not tell me the nature of their presumed emergency. I refused to give them info, hung up. Next month (about 3rd month into daily messages) got message online while paying balance as usual to contact Citi or my card use might get limited. Called, same woman in Manila spoke to me but it was a different number. Less info required from me, but asked me to identify my cell company and ISP paid on the Citi card monthly -- the $120 I pay on time each month, the only 2 creditors ever seen on the card. Still get calls.

Citibank comes up in caller id

This is a recording from Citi. They carry a variety of credit cards (Sears, Costco, Home Depot, Simplicity etc). They call if you are late making a payment (1-5 days) and call at least once a day until you pay or call them to explain your situation. I called them and no-one (I spoke with 3 reps) was rude or unpleasant. They were all empathetic and understanding.
