(844) 212-0179 was a Customer Call

I received a call from 844-212-0179 from someone claiming to be from Century Link. They had the last four digits of my social and wanted me to confirm the full thing. When I told them I didn't feel comfortable doing that and mentioned that I didn't even have a Century Link account, they hung up. An obvious scammer!

I coulda swore that people (like me) who are on the DO NOT CALL LIST keep getting these scam calls ..???? Grrrrrrrr.

I get a call from this number everyday between 3 & 5 o'clock. It is really getting annoying. I can't stand it anymore.

I just won't answer calls I don't no I check my machine once a day I call back the next morning the important ones

I got the same message as above. I am a Century Link customer, but was suspicious, as they should have no reason to be calling me. I called the number on my bill instead and Century Link said they had not called me and to disregard the message.
