Message I received: “Hello. My name is Susan, and I’m calling on behalf of [unintelligible], your insurance provider. I was hoping to speak to you about a valuable service that’s part of your membership. If you could please cal 1-888-[phone number], we’re available 7am to 7 pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday. We look forward to hearing from you, and have a great day.” I’ve received several of these automated phone calls in the past three weeks, on average twice a week, around 9:30 am. The latest was yesterday, Thursday, June 15, 2023.
received another call from this number. Again they mentioned Aetna.
wanted to set up an appointment for 12/08/2022 @ 10:00 am. called the number back and canceled the appointment.
Sending Mike Giulio, today saying he was affiliated with CDPHP. I called Ins. Company and they told me they were fraud. Guess I will cancel, don't need the scenario of a stressful moment of wanting to grab this assh##l taking advantage of us old 70+ people..!!
It seemed normal except that he was from central time or earlier (he said “good morning” when it was after 1pm). I had a strange feeling about it, and made sure i didn’t give him another other than my address, which now seems weird. (I have to give my address for transportation services) not much came up when i searched for the phone number, but this did.
Caller stated I owed 43$ medical bill, I stated I was at work and busy and offered to quickly pay this bill. She proceeded to then harrass me about permission to call me again and why had I let this debt go to collection etc. I again offered to pay the bill if we could do it quickly and I requested to not be called again, the woman on the phone was incredibly rude and interrupted me and stated she was marking me as "refusal to pay" even though I was offering to pay. Seems like a scam to me or else they need better customer service.
