(816) 631-0333 is a Debt Collector

called both me and my mother demanding personal information and would not give me a real company name

Refused to give me a company name, and called at 9pm, which is illegal. Hung up when I demanded to know the name in order to file harassment charges.

Received multiple calls from this number, but never answered till today. I pressed 1 to say it's me, and was transferred to a live person (Erica). She asked to verify that it was me. I asked who she was with. She said a call center. I said a call center for whom? She said she couldn't disclose that until she verified that she was speaking to the correct party. I said ok, good bye. If you won't tell me who you are, then I won't tell you who I am. I'm assuming from the other reports that it's likely a medical collection center, but again I dont know that so I'm not verifying anything.

It starts out with an automated system telling you press 1 if you are so & so press 2 to go get so & so press 3 blah blah blah. So I press 1 (I've pressed all other options because they call me daily, sometimes several times a day) anyway a man answers and ask me if I'm so & so, I ask what is this call concerning. He wouldn't tell me just kept trying to "verify" I'm so & so, I said the system told me to press 1 if I was her so again what is this call concerning. He said the system did verify you are her but I'm not the system & I still need to verify your information, I told him if you can't verify what this call is concerning take me off your list, stop calling me! He said ok have a nice day & hung up. So I'm still not sure what they wanted but definitely think its spam & a scam!

I called this number back thinking I missed a call a guy answers it and he knew who I was obviously through caller ID wanted me to give him my birthday to verify my information I said I won't give you my birthday so ask for my street numbers he says it's debt from St Luke's hospital I believe that this a scam he tried to strong-arm me and told me that I need to take care of some of it today I needed to do it today right now immediately and I said hold up I have insurance that pays 100% no co-pay what hospital is this associated with again and he said Saint Luke's I've never been to Saint Luke's Kansas City I said again I've never been to that hospital and I have not so I believe that this is a scam they're trying to get money you think you're protecting credit but you're paying a bill you don't in reality even have
