They said they were from Microsoft and I had been informed a long time ago that Microsoft will never call you. When I told this man what I knew he hung up on me....that solved that.
Claimed to be from Spectrum to update my cable boxes and since I was such a good customer would give me a monthly discount of $20. I was to send them a security check for $199.86 which they would refund the same amount in 6 months. I was to send check to PO box 14473 Albuquerque NM.
They spoofed Dish Networks # on caller id and then tell you your equipment needs an upgrade. Told them i needed to call them back and this is the number they gave to call back. Its a scam.
