Jibberish voicemail trying to get people to enter "1" in their VM service

Called my in-laws which I never give out their number. I called them back to find out who they were and to take their phone number off file. They did but then asked to verify my address. I would not until they said what it was for. Pretty much stale mate as they wouldn't. I told them I do not owe anything especially from them and to send me a letter if I do with the address they have on file. He said he couldn't without me verifying it first, told him it sounds like a conundrum and told them not to call any numbers for me. Hung up

Called requesting my mailing address to identify me. Said they are calling to collect a debt... Don't have any money owed.. If they had my Phone # then they should have my add. These companies are calling elderly people and they are threatened.. Needs to stop.
