Good afternoon, this is a courtesy message from Carolina Water Service, Inc. of North Carolina, your local water provider for the Sugar Mountain community. Our operations staff are doing all we can at this time. Once the storm passes, and it is safe to do so, we will be out in our communities investigating the situation. Due to the possible loss of power in the neighborhood, a boil advisory is in effect until further notice due to the potential for the drop in water pressure which may increase the potential for back siphonage and the introduction of bacteria into the water system.
