Greetings. Norfolk Public Schools parents and guardians the virtual scholars Academy is now excepting applications for the 2023 2024 school year. VSA is available to all students in grades K-12 the full course offerings through virtual Virginia to include special education services provided by NPS teachers. Students interested in attending the CSA must try and be accepted(?) into the program. If accepted. Those students will remain enrolled at their zone and can participate in all school sponsored sports clubs and activities. The application deadline is Friday April 28 2023. Greetings. Norfolk Public Schools parents and guardians and PS invite you to participate in the final community forum to review a new curriculum proposed for use in the school division's Family Life education classes. This curriculum is under review for use by students in grades six through 12. Norfolk Public Schools in collaboration with Eastern Virginia medical school and is funded by the Virginia Department of Health. The curriculum provides medically accurate age appropriate and evidence based family life education and comprehensive sex education brand and social and emotional learning for students. The curriculum allows students to make informed decisions about their relationships health and well being and allows parents and guardians to guide children about value sexual health and staying healthy.
