This important document allows the school division to qualify for Federal funding to support public education. In order for the school division to qualify for this funding. All families must be surveyed. Please take a few moments to complete this form sign it and return it to the school as soon as possible. A survey must be completed and returned by October 13 for each student attending New Port News Public Schools. The safety and well being in nps(?) students and staff remains a priority over the past six months the school division has increased the safety measures to further enhance these initiatives. Newport News Public Schools will require all students to use clear backpacks provided by the school division for the 2324 school year. We are committed to making this change hassle free for our students and families. The school division will purchase and distribute backpacks.
