I received a phone call today. It was a recording, but it sounded real/professional, saying something like: "You have a Federal Lawsuit and you are being sued, press one for more information." I did not press one but I wanted to be sure so I searched online for the phone number and found it's from MCI WorldCom, and Verizon took that company over. I logged into my Verizon account and chatted with a representative. He said: "It is a fraud call. Contact our CSSC team at 1-800 VERIZON (1-800-837-4966) between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST. There will be Interactive Voice Responses to connect you to correct department."
