They left a voicemail claiming to be Amazon. Said my account was compromised and someone had used my credit card to purchase an iPhone. Told me I should call 888-705-0955 to talk to an Amazon representative to straighten it out. Suspicious, I checked my Amazon account and there was no such charge. I did not call the number that they left.
They want 4.95 to cover shipping the gift cards out to you only payable by debit or credit card. I asked them to not call again. They said that they will keep calling until I accept the gift card and pay for shipping. I couldn't get the company they were to report them. Remember, NEVER EVER give someone you do not know your credit card info over the phone....
