I was scammed $1000.00 from this number that was rerouted from Capital One direct phone number.

When i answered this number, the caller had an accent like Hindus or Indians have. He claimed to be calling to inform me that the American Govt. had chosen my name and number to receive a free healthcate grant, je confirmed my name number and email address, then his "supervisor" got on the line he also had this same accent. He explained the situation again stating he was from the financial dept of the U.S Govt, asked did i have any questions to which i replied who was going to be askimg thess questions and he said the Healthcare Dept. He then went on to coach me giving me answers to questions that the "grant dept." would be asking me to qualify me for this free grant that i was allegedly already chosen for. He told me to lie about every question to make it sound good to the grant dept. Thats when i wnses the call.....they tried to call back once but left no voice message.
Fraudulent scam. I don’t own a computer and have never registered anything with Microsoft. Here is their script. Note last words like if called by mistake they don’t even know who they call. Issue coming out of your computer. It seems to be someone is trying to hijack your computer and try to steal your personal information. If it's not fixed right away then your computer will become obsolete and all of your credential information may got compromised.
