Said they were from the Social Security office, and that my part B Medicaid was inactive and wanted me to activate it I told them that would just call social security office and they told me well we're going to block it
India Pharmacy Scam trying to sell opioids over the phone
Area code is not valid. Usually assigned to telemarketers.
Caller claimed they had worked on my computer in the past, and were getting "reports of errors". When pressed for what type of computer, the most he would say is "your windows computer". I do own a windows computer, built on-site by me a few months ago that has never been in to a shop. I suspect he was going to try and get me to give him remote access so he could install malware, under the guise of remote maintenance.
