They wanted to talk to my mother who is deaf I stated I would take the message since they keep calling and not leaving a message. She said it was a personal matter then she said she would mail a letter. I said that would be better and to please stop calling this number. The next day the call came in 1 ring. Four days later they called again and it was a gentleman. I again said my mother is deaf and he was saying he can relate. I said I would take the message, but he could not give it to without her permission due to it being a personal matter. I told him I was her power of attorney and right away he wanted me to fax a copy of the POA. I said no way. I told him that the last woman I spoke to said she mailed something and mom has not received it yet. The gentleman stated it was mailed on 8/26/20 and today is 8/31/20. I told him to stop calling or I will get the FBI involved since my moms phone indicates that it is a spam call.
They are calling on important information and wouldn’t tell me who they were calling with only if I confirmed who they were speaking with 1st... um if you want something you had better be giving information prior to any information leaving me. After going back and forth about who was who, they said they would send a letter to me. Ok, have at it. See if that gives you better results.
Debt collector. Scam.
Scam. Says it's debt collector and call back 666 area code.
Never leaves a message. I have them on call block but, as you know, they can still get through to leave a message which, as I said, they never do. I figure if they cannot do something as simple as leave a voicemail in this day and age, they must not need to get in touch with me too badly! I don't owe anyone money, beyond the typical monthly bills, so don't know (or care) what this is about.
