This number or company has called in the past, they want to know if our business is moving. I asked what company they are from and he ("Kevin" with a very thick accent) said something "growth" but would not repeat it when I asked a second time because I didn't understand the first time. He just asked me again if our business was still moving (we are not moving, never were). I asked "why do you need this information?" and he hung up on me. Definitely a scam.
They keep calling my office about our upcoming move and I keep telling them we aren't moving. Definitely plan on blocking the number.
SCAM call from Business Connection Group about my upcoming move. Wanted to get our email address to send change of address form to the manager. Tried to ask them to remove us from their list but they responded by saying they aren't selling anything. When I started asking more questions to determine who they were, they lied and said they were with the State of Oregon and when I asked them to prove it by providing me their email address so I could email them, they demanded to speak to the manager and when I told them I was the manager, they hung up realizing they weren't getting anywhere.
Caller ID: Wireless Caller 1-215-356-6416 - Amanda @ Growth Index Group asking details about company and move. Employees in the area. They have called multiple times under different numbers known ID number : Michelle @ Growth Index Group 1-267-866-0929.
They've called me twice today so far with this number! I told them we aren't planning to move anytime soon and after they called again I realized it was a scam.
Business Connection Group called my office three times about our "upcoming move". I told them we're not moving. I hung up when they called again the third time, I told them we're reporting them to the FTC etc.
