This number called (844) 340-5254 and left a message looking for a “client” said I was that clients reference. Called them back and they said that client is going to court and asked if I knew them. I said no and told them to mail a letter to the person. He got upset and said this is the number for that person. Not true. I called him a scammer and said stop calling me. He then began to argue with me so I hung up. He called me again back to back 5 times from a new number 844-559-1247. I blocked both numbers
Message was “we've been attempting to get your stimulus check to you but it's being returned. Verify your information here” Any legit agency will NEVER try to contact you via text. Report this kind of spam to your telephone provider and block the number. Eventually, the cons will have no more people to play.
Trying to get me to call them about a discount on my car
This individual scammed a woman into believing he was a good guy, he wasn't. He is a scammer. Run.
