Credit card company
Calls about delinquent payments
I contacted city Bank and they said this is definitely not them
Finally picjed up the call --- they say they are Citibank for a Best Buy Card - and they have information on the month prior payment, and they know the balance due and it checks with the online statement, and then they want to know if you're prepared to make a payment today. Then they want to verify you with your DOB and last 4 of your SS and they hang up when you won't priovide that. Call back does go to Citibank answer ...
This number calls as early as 8 am and as late as 9:30 pm. Have told them not to call again, but they continue to do so.
This is NOT Citibank they are scammers who are persistent and call from
The call comes through as Best Buy, but they never leave a message. They've been calling 4-5 times a day and normally I just ignore. Today, I went to my phone log and hit the call back button. I got through, spoke to a specialist who assured me that it wasn't Best Buy who called. I'm current on my Best Buy card, so I had no idea why they would be calling so much. I have no idea who these people are if not Best Buy.
It appears that this could be a legitimate call from Citibank
