I just received a call on the land line....it was a recording that might have said exactly what the typical messages above state. The recording gave me a number to call back and said that if I didn't call back, that there was a Social Security Officer waiting with an arrest warrant. My name is not connected with the number they called in any way. It can be scary with all the scams we hear about. I just wish these people would find something better to do with their time other than trying to scam people out of money and scare those who believe them. With the technology we have today, it seems this could be stopped, but at the same time, the technology allows this to happen repeatedly. Hmmm...reminds me of a play I watched back in high school. Technology will be the end of us. p.s. the recording did not give a name for the person who was supposedly calling. Wish they would knock on my door.
