This caller is, indeed, the American Red Cross. They do have a rather aggressive program to try to remind donors of upcoming blood drives. There is a true need for blood, so I find it hard to blame the Red Cross, especially because I have received calls from them in the past, and if you answer them and explain that you don’t want to be called, they do stop calling. Be generous. Donate when you are able, if you are able, if you want to donate. Ask them to stop calling if you’d like. They do respect your wishes.

Red Cross was in my contacts list already. It is actually the real Red Cross.
