This guy called my elderly mother looking for me, telling her he was with UPS and he was trying to arrange a package delivery for me. She called me and passed his number along. I was skeptical about the call and number and started looking on the internet to figure out who this might be. Sure enough, it's a scam. I called the number, and A guy with what sounded like a foreign accent identified himself as David Miller, saying he had a mega millions winnings for me from Publishers Clearing House. It's the exact scam that I found on the internet prior to speaking with him. Older folks beware, he will try to con you into buying a prepaid gift card for 300-400 dollars in exchange for the supposed "package", and that's how these scumbags make money. 10 people fall for this in a week, and that's a good living. Pay attention to area codes... if it's out of state, think twice. In addition, UPS would never need to "arrange" a package drop, they provide tracking information, and actually show up.
