I've never had any student loans. Ever. And this Ethan has called/left messages twice. So this is either legit but calling the wrong number or a scam. I'm leaning towards the latter, but I'm a pessimist...
Apple is giving away 50 iPad Pro and you have been chosen to get one. Confirm your information here (click link)
The above message is exactly what I got -- once on 5/19 but from a different number (501) 710-4418 and today (5/25) from this number. Love how he didn't even mention which school or anything, not to mention the information is false anyway. Do not call this number, it is definitely a scam.
This scammed is a recorded male voice. Same pitch about helping. This time the # to call is 855-567-7038, which is the real # for comenity in San Antonio, Texas.
I like to know if my cellphones getting shut off. That's all it is, Verizon active acct late payment collections.
Called me ten times in three hours. When I called back said Amazon but disconnects before you can speak. When I finally spoke with them it is a call thatthe back ground noise is unbearable and the person has an Indian accent..( called back several times ALL had this same accent) After speaking to them they said someone from Dayton Ohio tried to purchase an iPhone for 729.00
After they said they'd take care of it and hanging up I blocked the number. They proceeded to try and call back all evening. I finally unblocked the number so I could answer. I told them I knew they were not in the US and were rerouting their number and I had reported them. No more calls!
The first time they called I answered some questions not all very personal! Then I hung up, have had several calls since then, wish they would quit
Phoned, I introduced myself. The caller hung up. When called back, they identified themselves as Dynamic Recovery Solutions, a debt collection agency.
